这两个名词都表示“建筑物”之意。

building : 普通用词，指任何建筑物，但不涉及建筑物的大小、风格以及所用材料。

例如：The building is the symbol of eastern building.（这座建筑物是东方建筑的象征。）
structure : 侧重建筑物的构造形式。

例如：The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous structures in the world.（艾菲尔铁塔是世界上最著名的建筑物之一。）
