BANGKOK, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The Consulate General of China in Thailand's Chiang Mai confirmed on Saturday that four Chinese tourists were wounded after a tourist bus carrying 12 Chinese tourists overturned in Chiang Mai province Saturday afternoon.
These tourists are from Guangzhou, and among the injured one suffered comparatively severe injuries, the consulate general said, adding that however, their injuries are not fatal.
They are now being treated at a local hospital in Chiang Mai.
The rest tourists are all safe, the consulate general said.
According to the consulate general, Consul General Ren Yisheng and other officials of the consulate general hurried to the hospital and ask the hospital and relevant travel agency to take good care of the Chinese tourists.
