LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Three people were wounded by gunshots on Tuesday morning at Gardena Senior High School in the Los Angeles area, as the police were searching for a student who may have brought a gun to the campus.
The shooting was reported at 10:30 a.m. at the campus at 1301 W. 182nd St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The extent of the injuries or whether any officers were hurt were not immediately known.

The officers were searching for a suspect who may be a 16-year-old student.
