crop, harvest, yield

这些名词均含有“收成”之意。

crop : 普通用词，侧重指农作物一次收割或一季的收成。

Because of the spring rains, the farmers had a bounteous crop. （因为下了春雨,农夫获得了丰收。）

harvest : 主要指农作物或水果的收获量，有时也指收割的行为。

There was a good harvest that year.（那一年收成好。）

yield : 指生产物，农作物的总产量。

All these have helped raise farm yields steadily.（所有这些都有助于农业产量的稳步提高。）
