这个 handle 跟 afford 的区别要分清楚，handle 指的是事情上应付不来，而 afford 多半指金钱上无法负担。譬如学校里，你选的课太多了应付不来，就可以说 I took too many courses, I can't handle it. 再举一个例子，例如工作很多作不完，你就可以这么说 There's too much workload here. I can't handle it. 这也是变相拒绝的一种方式吧。
