1.Simmer v. 煨，炖，慢慢地煮沸，即将发作，内心充满

如：Bring the mixture to the boil, then let it simmer for ten minutes. 
把混合物煮至沸腾，然後再用文火煮十分钟。

Let the soup simmer (for) a few minutes. 
让汤再煮几分钟。

Keep the potatoes on the simmer for ten minutes. 
把马铃薯炖十分钟。

2.paring knife 削皮刀，去皮刀
3.casserole  n. （餐桌上用有盖的）焙盘，砂锅菜，勺皿

如：Shall I do the casserole in the oven? 
我用烤箱做焙盘炖菜好吗？

4.discoloration n. 变色，污点，褪色
