1.vigilant adj. 警醒的，警戒著的，警惕的

如：One must be ever vigilant. 
每个人必须随时提高警觉。

The dog kept a vigilant guard over the house. 
这只狗警醒地守护着这所房屋。

2.Weed out 除去，剔除，淘汰

如：The new conductor start by weed out the weaker player in the orchestra. 
管弦乐队新来的指挥一上任就先把较差的演奏人员清除出去了。

He weed out one by one the book he do not want. 
他把不想要的书一本一本丢掉。

3.polygamous adj. 一夫多妻的，一妻多夫的

如：In respect to violin, I am polygamous. 
就小提琴而言，我是一夫多妻主义的。
