The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has just released the country's logistics prosperity index for August, which shows a continuous expansion.

The prosperity index stands at 54.1 percent, 2.7 points lower than the previous month. This indicates a that growth speed has slowed. Still, a reading above 50 indicates expansion.

The index is based on data compiled from monthly replies to questionnaires sent to over 300 logistics enterprises in 8 industries.
