China's securities regulatory body says it is studying the feasibility for lowering transaction costs of stock trading. The current costs mainly include commissions, stamp duty, and other fees.

The last adjustment in stamp duty was back in September 2008. When that was announced, the A-share market gained more than nine percent in one session.
