JOS, Nigeria, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people were killed in new clashes in central Nigeria on Saturday, report said.
The clashes started in Jos, the capital of northern Plateau State when there was impending tension following allegations that some Muslim youths who attended a wedding in Mangu local government area on Thursday were attacked and burnt in there car.
Jos was plunged in a pool of blood on March 7, when members of local Muslim and Christian communities fought each other in revenge for previous killings.
Police said 109 people were slain in the March 7 tragedy, mostly women and children, weeks after more died in waves of sectarian violence in the region.
