WASHINGTON, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Israel's ambassador to the United States Michael Oren said on Sunday that his country will reject an international commission to probe its deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship that killed nine international volunteers.
"We are rejecting an international commission. We are discussing with the Obama administration a way in which our inquiry will take place," Oren said on Fox News Channel.

"Israel is a democracy. Israel has the ability and the right to investigate itself, not to be investigated by any international board," he added.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has reportedly proposed to establish an international panel to investigate the raid.
