BANGKOK, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Thai Premier Abhisit Vejjajiva said Friday night he has actually intended to solve the country's political problem, but he is ready to go if he can not, Thai News Agency reported
Abhisit's remark was made amid the country's rising political tension.
In a related development, Abhisit expressed his condolence to a victim died in a series of bomb blasts that hit capital Bangkok's main financial district of Silom Thursday night.
The "red-shirt" rally has been held from March 12 as they have demanded the prime minister dissolve the lower House and hold a new general election.
The "red-shirts" have viewed that, apart from the House dissolution, there is no other solution to the country's ongoing political conflict.
