MINSK, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- The football club Dynamo Brest became the champion of Belarus for the first time in its history.

In the penultimate 29th round of the Belarusian national championship on Sunday, FC Dynamo Brest beat FC Vitebsk 1-0 at home. Alexei Khoblenko scored the only goal in the 38th minute of the match.

Meanwhile BATE Borisov beat Dynamo Minsk 3-0. FC Shakhtar lost to FC Minsk. BATE won silver medals.
