PARIS, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain on Monday launched a brand new Parc des Princes experience that will enable supporters to discover the stadium and learn about history of the club in an interactive and immersive manner.
The experience is built on the latest virtual reality and immersive video technology, and made up of three parts: PSG stadium tour, history room and PSG VR arcade.
The Parc des Princes has not been open for tours since 2012 due to its refurbishment between 2013 and 2016.
"Our supporters have been eagerly awaiting these Parc des Princes tours, as we have millions of tourists who visit the French capital every year," said Fabien Alleegre, Paris Saint-Germain's director of merchandising and brand diversification.
"In line with the club's ambition, we took our time to build a project that exceeds their expectations, in order to offer an interactive and immersive experience that is the only one of its kind in the world," Alleegre added.
