WASHINGTON, April 22 (Xinhua) -- The National Basketball Association fined Brooklyn Nets general manger Sean Marks, forward Jared Dudley, Philadelphia 76ers swingman Jimmy Butler and San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan on Sunday.
Dudley was fined 25,00 U.S. dollars and Butler was fined 15,000 dollars as both players were ejected after a scuffle broke out following Joel Embiid's flagrant foul against Jarrett Allen in Philadelphia's 112-108 victory over Brooklyn at Barclays Center in New York on Saturday.
Nets GM Marks was suspended one game without pay and fined 25,000 dollars for entering the referees' locker room after the same game.
The victory gave the 76ers a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven opening-round series with game five set for Tuesday in Philadelphia.
San Antonio guard DeRozan was fined 25,000 dollars for recklessly throwing the basketball toward a referee and into the stands during the Spurs' 117-103 home loss to Denver Nuggets in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs game 4 on Saturday.
The Nuggets leveled the best-of-seven first-round playoff series at 2-2 with game five Tuesday at Denver and game six Thursday at San Antonio.
