JAKARTA, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia aimed to defend its title at the coming 2019 Asian BMX Cycling Championship to be held in Malaysia, concerned official said here on Thursday.

For the championship slated for April 13-14, the Indonesian Cycling Association chief Raja Sapta Oktohari said that "we have been making serious preparation, and our target is for the championship."

Team manager Budi Syahputra said that the Indonesian squad include men cyclists Rio Akbar, the winner last year, I Gusti bagus Saputra, the 2018 Asian Games runner-up, Fasya Ahsana Rifki, as well as female rider Wiji Lestari who won a bronze medal in the Asiad.
