NAIROBI, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Kenya will play Burundi in the first round qualifiers for the 2020 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) to be staged in Ethiopia.
Nick Mwendwa, president of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) said here on Monday that they intend to break the duck and qualify for the first time after missing out on the 2016 and 2018 editions.
The first leg will be played in Nairobi on July 26 with the second leg slated for Bujumbura on August 4. And the winner will face either Tanzania or Sudan in the second and final qualifying round.
Meanwhile, Kenya's senior national team Harambee Stars, will move to training camp on March 17 to prepare for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Ghana on March 23 in Accra. Enditem
