BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Tan Long scored twice down the stretch to help Changchun Yatai snap a four-game winning streak of defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande with a 3-2 win in the 17th round of the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Yu Rui broke the deadlock for Yatai in the 16th minute, but Yang Liyu equalized for the visitors 12 minutes later. At the end of the first half, Ricardo Goulart helped Evergrande take the lead with a header.
Most of the second half went back and forth before Tan Long headed a corner in the 84th minute to tie it on 2-2. Tan became the savior of his team again in the 90th minute as he caught a passing error of Zhang Linpeng and made it 3-2.
Also on Saturday, Shanghai SIPG upset Shanghai Greenland 2-0 with goals from Wu Lei and Hulk. Shandong Luneng beat Chongqing Lifan 2-0, Hebei China Fortune edged Guizhou Hengfeng 1-0.
