LUANDA, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Latvia beat Angola 68-47 in Group D of the U-17 Women's Basketball World Championship in Minsk (Belarus) on Tuesday.
In the previous matches, Angola had already conceded defeats to Australia (43-81) and Canada (36-66) in their World Championship debutance.
In group D standings Australia finished first with 6 points, followed by Canada 5, Latvia 4 and Angola 3.
