WASHINGTON, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Superstar LeBron James hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 98-95 in Game 5 on Wednesday for a 3-2 overall lead in their series.
James scored 44 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to become the man of the game as the Cavs could close out Indiana with another win in Indianapolis on Friday.
Kyle Korver hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 while center Kevin Love had 11 points for the Caves. Domantas Sabonis scored 22 points and Thaddeus Young had 16 for the Pacers.
The Pacers led 56-49 by halftime but the host team tightened defense in the third quarter and outscored their opponents 32-17. Indiana launched a late challenge in the final quarter and tied the game at 95-all before James saved his team again.
