BERLIN, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Milot Rashica will join Werder Bremen from Dutch outfit Vitesse, the German Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old attacker joins Bremen with immediate effect. The details of the contract he signed have not been made public.
"I am very delighted that Milot [is joining]. He is a player with great prospects and someone who can reinforce us immediately. He is good in one-on-one situations, he is fast and offers more variety in our squad with his qualities," Bremen manager Florian Kohfeldt said.
Rashica played for Vitesse Arnhem for three years and scored 13 goals in 83 competitive encounters. He has also been part of the Kosovo national team where he has 11 appearances behind his name.
"I am very happy to play for such a well-known Bundesliga club. I am looking forward to the new challenge," Bremen's new arrival said on the club's official homepage.
Werder Bremen are currently 16th on the Bundesliga table and are firmly locked in a relegation scrap. They clash with third placed Schalke on Saturday.
