JAKARTA, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Young shuttlers of China and Indonesia will vie on Thursday at a quarterfinal match of the badminton world junior championship in Yogyakarta province of Indonesia, Indonesian team manager said on Wednesday.
Indonesian team defeated Spain in a play-off on Wednesday, making it the champion of Group H, and China beat Chinese Taipei to finish on top of Group G, manager of Indonesian team Susi Susanti disclosed.
The manager said that Indonesia will deploy a full force in the upcoming match against China.
"For tomorrow (Thursday), the preparation is certainly better, whoever the opponent, they are strong," Susanti said in the Indonesian badminton association's website.
"But I always remind team to be ready, concentrate and never surrender, give their best performance," she stressed.
The badminton world junior championship started on Monday and will conclude on Oct. 22 in the Among Rogo sport stadium of Yogyakarta province.
Indonesia targets two gold medals in the international tournament, according the manager.
