RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- China defeated Iran in the final to clinch gold in the mixed team recurve archery event at the Rio Paralympics on Sunday.

China secured the title with a final score of 5-3 at the Sambodromo.

Italy beat Mongolia 5-1 in the bronze medal match.
