YOKOHAMA, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona's starting line-up for Sunday's Club World Cup final against River Plate in Yokohama after recovering from a bout of renal colic.

Coming back from a groin strain, Brazilian striker Neymar also started alongside Luis Suarez, who scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 semifinal victory over Guangzhou Evergrande in the pair's absence.

Barcelona are bidding to become the first team to win the Club World Cup three times in the final.
