RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Barcelona forward Neymar has revealed he does not watch football on television, even matches played by his former club Santos.
But despite choosing not to analyze opponents in his free time, the 23-year-old Brazil captain lavished praise on Barcelona's biggest rivals, Real Madrid, and their talisman forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
"A fantastic team with great quality players," Neymar told beIN Sports. "They're up there with the best and we just need to carry on doing our job.
"I don't enjoy watching games that don't feature Barca and I don't watch Madrid. I just don't watch other football on TV so I can't give an opinion."
When asked who he thought might win the Ballon d'Or in January, Neymar said it would be a battle between Ronaldo and his Barcelona teammate and four-time winner Lionel Messi.
"Leo and Cristiano are in a tussle for that as they are both extraordinary players," Neymar said. "I don't feature in that, I just carry on doing my job and try and secure titles for the team
"I don't really care who is top scorer. As long as Barcelona keep winning, that's what counts for me."
