LIMA, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Former Bayern Munich striker Paolo Guerrero was Tuesday included in Peru's national squad for the team's World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Brazil next month.
The 31-year-old will lead Peru's attack alongside Werder Bremen veteran Claudio Pizarro and Red Bull Salzburg's Yordy Reyna.
Joint top scorer at this year's Copa America with four goals, Guerrero has been in poor form for Brazilian club Flamengo.
Having joined the Rio de Janeiro outfit from Corinthians in July, the center forward has netted just four times in 15 appearances.
Peru's Argentinian coach Ricardo Gareca will next week add nine locally based players to the 14 already named.
The Blanquirroja will host Paraguay in Lima on Nov. 13 before travelling to Salvador to face Brazil four days later.

Midfielders: Christian Cueva (Toluca), Christofer Gonzales (Colo Colo), Paolo Hurtado (Reading), Renato Tapia (Twente) and Andre Carrillo (Sporting-Portugal).
Forwards: Jefferson Farfan (Al Jazira), Paolo Guerrero (Flamengo), Claudio Pizarro (Werder Bremen) and Yordy Reyna (Red Bull Salzburg).
