PARIS, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The 2016 European Championship draw pots have taken shape after the coefficient rankings were confirmed on Wednesday, with England are among top seeds following a perfect 10-0-0 run in the qualifying group stage.

Twenty teams have qualified for Euro 2016 finals after 13 months, 260 qualifiers of the nine groups. With the finals draw in Paris on December 12, the qualified sides may start thinking about the matchups in next summer after the UEFA national team coefficient rankings were announced.

According to seedings decided by the coefficients, World Cup winners Germany, the only qualifiers with perfect record England, Portugal and the No. 1 team in FIFA's rankings Belgium will join holders Spain in Pot 1, while hosts France take position one in Group A with automatic berth.

As Wales and Northern Ireland have confirmed to be in Pot 4, the three qualifiers from Britain cannot all be drawn in the same Euro 2016 group.

Also in Pot 4 are Iceland and Albania, while Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Austria and Croatia will be definitely in Pot 2.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Sweden and Hungary are the seeds in the play-off draw, which takes place on Sunday. The Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Norway and Slovenia are their possible opponents in the two-legged deciders, which will be played between 12 and 17 November.

The draw for the finals takes place on 12 December.
