BEIJING, July?26?(Xinhuanet) -- Olympic champion Shawn Johnson just got engaged with Andrew East in the most adorable way.

Andrew East, snapper for the Kansas City Chiefs, started dating with Johnson in 2014. The NFL player proposed to her before the Chicago Cubs’ game against the Phillies on Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field with one knee down. Johnson nodded and then hugged her boyfriend to accept his offer.

After that, the Chicago Cubs congratulate Shawn Johnson and Andrew East on their engagement. Johnson also shared video of the proposal on Instagram.

The 23-year-old gymnast said in her social media account, " I experienced the greatest surprise a girl could ever ask for today... The love of my life asked me to be his forever AND I SAY YES!!!!!!"

Shawn Johnson is known for scoring a gold medal on the balance beam at the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing.
