BRATISLAVA, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- No gold for Russia on Saturday in the 27th Winter Universiade in Strbske Pleso and Osrblie.
The biathlon and cross country skiing were dominated by Kazakhstan, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
The last cross country skiing title, the lady's 15 km, was won by Anastassiya Slonova from Kazakhstan with an overall time of 44:47.1.
"I am feeling great. Everything on the track was all right. I felt good during all the races. I am really very satisfied with the gold medal," said Slonova.
Russian Svetlana Nikolaeva (+8.8) took the second place and Polish Ewelina Marcisz (+15.2) took third.
Ukraine's Vitaliy Kilchytskyy and Dmytro Rusinov took an one-two finish of the men's 15km despite bad weather. The bronze went to Yuri Shopin form Russia.
The women's biathon title was claimed by Jitka Landova of Czech Republic, while her compatriot Eva Puskarcikova finished second. Ukraine's Iana Bondar was third.
