BERLIN, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Monchengladbach's Andre Hahn will miss the first opening games due to an inflammation of his Achilles tendon, the "Foals" announced on Friday.
Andre Hahn won't be available for Monchengladbach's upcoming opening games for the second half of the campaign. Hahn's left Achilles tendon has been immobilized with a plaster cast for ten days.
The German international midfielder will be out of action for at least two to three weeks. He will thus miss the first three games of the second half of the season.
Andre Hahn joined the "Foals" from Augsburg in March 2014 to pen a deal until June 2018. He scored since his arrival six goals in 23 appearances and assisted five times.
Monchengladbach occupy the 4th place of the Bundesliga standings. They face Stuttgart for their opening game on the road on January 31.
