DUBAI, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan scored their way to a 4-2 victory over 2014 UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid in the Dubai Football Challenge at The Sevens Stadium on Tuesday as spectators from the emirate, region and beyond celebrated the football giants facing off in the city.

El Shaarawy scored twice in the 31 and 48 minutes for AC Milan. Jeremy Menez made an opening strike and Giampaolo Pazzini scored Milan's fourth goal, a header, in the 73 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored Real Madrid's opening goal while Karim Benzema added a second for the Spanish giants from the penalty spot.

The result of the friendly match did not end Real Madrid's 22- game winning streak in competitive matches.
