BERLIN, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Bayern Munich bind Tom Starke and Ginaluca Gaudino with new contracts, the German giants confirmed in an official statement on Wednesday.
Bayern's substitute goalkeeper Tom Starke agreed on a contract extension until summer 2016 whereas home grown talent Gianluca Gaudino signed his first professional contract until 2018.
The 18-year-old youngster Gaudino passed through all youth teams of the "Bavarians" since 2004. He made overall five appearances, three in the Bundesliga, one in the UEFA Champions League and one in the German Cup.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Tom Starke joined Bayern from Hoffenheim in 2012. Starke started in five games for the German record champions and made overall 96 Bundesliga games and 15 German Cup appearances.
Josep Guardiola's men lead the Bundesliga with twelve points for the moment.
