WASHINGTON, Dec.5 (Xinhua) -- Kemba Walker made the last-second left-handed layup to help Charlotte Hornets past New York Knicks 103-102 on Friday night.

Walker, who had 11 pioints drove down to the paint with 4 seconds left and put the ball up over Amar'e Stoudemire for the winner, snapping the Hornets' 10-game losing streak.

J.R. Smith had 14 points for Knicks, led by Carmelo Anthony's game-high 32 points. Gerald Henderson scored a season-high 22 points for the Hornets, followed by Al Jefferson with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Lance Stephenson also scored 16 points.
