MILAN, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Colombian international Pablo Armero has launched a scathing attack on Filippo Inzaghi as the AC Milan head coach failed to fulfil his promise.
Armero, who joined the Rossoneri on loan from Udinese in the summer, said he was convinced by Inzaghi to join the Milan side, but has played just 13 minutes of Serie A soccer this season.
The Colombian international said he never wanted to join Milan, but Inzaghi said he 'needed' him.
"I didn't ask to go to Milan, I asked to go to a team where I could be a leader. It was Inzaghi who called and asked me to go to Milan, because he said he was depending on me," he said.
"But so far I haven't found room in the Italian League, where I thought I'd play regularly after a good World Cup in Brazil this summer," he said.
"He said 'Come here, I need you' and I thought that he really meant it, but I never play," Armero added.
