BEIJING, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Second seed Rafeal Nadal will encounter Frenchman Richard Gasquet in the first round of China Open, making the most eye-catching clash in the men's singles draw here on Saturday.

Ranking 21st, Gasquet will not be an easy opponent for the Spaniard who is still recovering from his left wrist injury.

Top seed Novak Djokovic will face Spanish Guillermo Garcia Lopez while third seed Tomas Berdych will play wildcarder Feliciano Lopez.

Fourth seed and 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic is glad to meet Chinese wildcard player Bai Yan.

"It is so interesting to see a draw like this. For me, I played Bai three or four years ago. He improves much these years," said the Croatian, who appeared at the draw ceremony as a player representative.

The sixth seed Andy Murray, who is chasing his first tournament title in China's southern coast city of Shenzhen, will face Jerzy Janowicz in the first round here in Beijing.

Spaniard Tommy Robredo and Italian Andreas Seppi will be face to face again after their clash in the Shenzhen Open quarterfinals on Thursday. Robredo then edged Seppi 6-4, 6-7 and 6-3 in two hours and 36 minutes.
