BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Copa Libertadores champions San Lorenzo will meet Italian giants AC Milan in a friendly at the San Siro stadium on Nov. 5, the Argentine club confirmed on Thursday.
The teams will play off for the Luigi Berlusconi trophy, named in honor of the father of AC Milan's president Silvio Berlusconi.
"We are very happy and grateful for the invitation by AC Milan," San Lorenzo's president Matias Lammens said on the club's official website.
The match will provide Edgardo Bauza's team with a stern test ahead of December's FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
The Buenos Aires outfit earned a berth in the tournament last month by defeating Paraguay's Nacional in the final of the Copa Libertadores, South America's premier club competition.
