BUENOS AIRES, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Former Argentina coach Diego Maradona said on Sunday that the Argentine squad "might win Brazil World Cup."
"Dreams might come true. Argentina might win the World Cup. We must have confidence in (coach Alejandro) Sabella," said Maradona.
In an interview with local channel C5N, Maradona said he does not watch the games of the Argentine team but he will make an exception for Brazil 2014. He will be commentator for the Venezuelan television network Telesur together with Uruguayan journalist Victor Hugo Morales.
Maradona, 53, said he will renew his contract to stay one more year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as sports ambassador.
Maradona led Argentina to the quarter-finals in South Africa 2010, where the squad was beaten 4-0 by Germany.
