HAVANA, May 24 (Xinhua) -- A team of three boxers will represent Cuba at the Second Youth Olympic Games to be held in Nanjing, China from August 16-28, local media reported on Saturday.
They are Javier Ibanez (56 kg), Jordan Hernandez (91 kg) and Alain Limonta (60 kg).
Cuba participated in the first edition of the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010 with Robeisy Ramirez (54), who returned with the crown, alongside Irosvany Duverger (81) and Leinier Pero (91).
Boxing is a traditional strength event for the Caribbean country, which has won 67 Olympic medals and 116 world titles.
