CURITIBA, Brazil, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Velez Sarsfield moved to the top of their Copa Libertadores group on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Atletico Paranaense.
Agustin Allione opened the scoring in the seventh minute at the Vila Capanema stadium before Drausio equalized for the hosts just after halftime.
But goals from Lucas Pratto on the hour and Hector Canteros in injury time ensured the Argentine outfit their fourth win in five matches.
The result means Velez now lead Group 1 with 12 points, three head of second-placed Atletico Paranaense.
In other matches on Wednesday, Newell's Old Boys won 4-2 away to Nacional, Arsenal de Sarandi beat hosts Deportivo Anzoategui 3-1, O'Higgins held Deportivo Cali to a 1-1 draw while Leon and Bolivar drew 0-0.
