WASHINGTON, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James scored 43 points in the Miami Heat's 100-96 victory over his former team Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

James made 25 of his 43 points in the first quarter. He took six rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks as well.

Chris Bosh added 21 points for the Heat. Ray Allen had 14 points from the bench.

Jarrett Jack scored 22 points for the Cavs, which were playing without Kyrie Irving and Luol Deng. Dion Waiters added 17 and 11 assists.
