LONDON, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's badminton ace Lee Chong Wei and defending champion Chen Long of China have been confirmed to compete in the All-England Badminton Championships to be held in Birmingham from March 4-9.

Lee, who won his 10th consecutive Maybank Malaysian Open title in January, has appeared in the last five men's singles finals and will be looking to recapture the title he won in 2010 and 2011. But Chen, who also beat the Malaysian in the first Superseries event of the year in South Korea, will be aiming to retain the title.

Chinese trio of former All England champions in Li Xuerui, Wang Yihan and Wang Shixian will also compete in the women's event.
