WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Charlotte Bobcats ended the New York Knicks' five-game winning streak on Tuesday with an 108-98 victory.

The Bobcats center Al Jefferson scored a personal season-high 35 points. Kemba Walker made 25 points, 12 of which came from the final quarter.

Carmelo Anthony had a team-best 20 points and six rebounds for the Knicks. Amar'e Stoudemire contributed 17 points and four rebounds from the bench.

The Knicks will next face the Indiana Pacers, the current league-best record holder, on Thursday.
