ROME, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Inter head coach Walter Mazzarri suggested that the referee's decisions proved crucial in his side' s 1-0 loss to Lazio on Monday at Stadio Olimpico.
Miroslav Klose scored a late goal give the home side all three points in game which, according to Mazzarri, was decided by referee's decisions.
"We knew it was going to be a difficult game," he said. " This is the sort of game that is decided on the basis of right and wrong decisions."
"There was a clear penalty and a red card for a foul on Rolando from Dias, but (the referee) never minded. We were unlucky. It was a clear penalty. If you ask me I'll tell you what I think, " he said.
Lazio newly-appointed head coach Edy Reja said his Lazio side could have performed much better.
"We haven't played very well today," he said. "We can do much, much more.
"These three points give us some serenity, but we know we are not in the best condition," he said.
