ATHENS, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Olympiakos Piraeus beat Belgium's Anderlecht 3-1 on Tuesday night in a decisive Champions League Group C qualifier held in Greece, winning the ticket to the next round of 16.

Argentinean striker Javier Saviola scored the first two goals for the hosts on the 33rd minute and on the 58th minute of the match, while his compatriot Alejandro Dominguez scored the last goal a minute before the end.

American midfielder Sacha Kljestan scored Anderlecht's sole goal on the 39th minute of the game which was held at Karaiskaki stadium at the port city of Piraeus.

The outcome hands Olympiakos the ticket to the next phase of 16 clubs who will vie for the Champions League Cup.
