HAIKOU, South China, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Haikou International Beach Marathon 2013 will kick off on Saturday on the Holiday Beach in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province.

China's first beach marathon is also the largest of the kind in Asia. It has attracted a total of 402 professional and amateur runners as well as nearly 2,000 mini marathon enthusiasts from 21 countries and countries.
