SALT LAKE CITY, United States, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- South Korean Lee Sang-Hwa broke her own world 500m record in the ISU Speedskating World Cup on Friday.
The reigning Olympic and world champion won the race in 36.57 seconds, beating the previous mark of 36.74 she set Saturday at Calgary, Canada.
China's Wang Beixing was second in 36.85 and American Heather Richardson came third.
