WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Derrick Rose from Chicago Bulls would play Thursday night's game against New York Knicks.

The 2011 MVP injured his neck and missed the team shooting around session in the morning.

The Bulls put him into the "game-time decision list", and he confirmed later he would play.

Rose had been out of the court since April, 2012. He sat out the entire 2012-2013 season.
