ANTWERP, Belgium, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Dutch Epke Zonderland grabbed the horizontal bar gold medal in the last event of the world gymnastics championships on Sunday.
The London Olympic champion, who scored 16 points on Sunday, said: "I was really nervous after my routine, because I knew Fabian Hambuechen could win because he was able to get a higher score than 16 points."
"I had two silver medals from the world championships and one gold in the Olympics. And now, another gold in the world championships. I am very proud of my results," he added.
The 27-year-old gymnast said he would keep on fighting.
"I will continue," he said, "because I am still making progress."
"The fun thing about sport is that you can do better and better, so I am not finished yet," he added.
