ANKARA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Galatasaray announced on Monday that it had started negotiations with Manchester City's former manager, Italian Roberto Mancini, local Today's Zaman reported.
The report said Mancini had arrived in Istanbul on Monday after receiving the job offer from Galatasaray to meet with the club's executives.
According the Turkish media, their talks in Italy were at a dead end as the Italian demanded an annual wage of 7 million euros, plus a fee of 2 million euros for his assistants. However, Mancini accepted to continue negotiations in Istanbul, despite the gap between his demands and Galatasaray's offer.
