NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Former All-Star center Shaquille O'Neal will join the Sacramento Kings as a minor owner soon, the National Basketball Association club announced on Monday.

Owned by Indian Vivek Ranadive, the Kings said O'Neal acquired a minority stake in the team and will be introduced on Tuesday in Sacramento.

O'Neal, one of the best centers in the NBA history, retired after the 2010-2011 season and worked as an analyst for TNT.
